Mohabbat ka Sharbat is a delicious summer drink made with Rooh Afza (rose syrup), watermelon, milk, and ice cubes , it is one of the most popular drinks from the streets of Delhi. The one thing I look forward to most when visiting India has to be food...The food is incredible from the street vendors to the fine dining restaurants. One drink that you should definitely try in Delhi is Mohabbat ka Sharbat especially when you're walking through the streets of old Delhi.
My dadima made this amazingly refreshing drink especially during summers (October-January) at home whilst growing up in Tanzania, she used to call it watermelon nu sharbat in Gujurati. I always thought it was my dadima's unique recipes until when I visited India a number of times with friends and family. Oh how I miss going through the streets of old Delhi, eating and drinking my way through.
Let's make it together :) Please do leave a comment if you make this and follow us on Instagram @aliabakesto, Enjoy!
