Chai Masala Pudding
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Rest time: 2 hours
Total time: 2 hours, 20 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
2 cups whole milk
3 Tbsp sugar (more if desired)
1/4 cup corn starch
1 tsp chai masala (I've used Spicewala's chai masala)
70g/1/4 bar 70% dark chocolate (I've used Lindt)
1/4 cup coconut cream or heavy cream
Directions:
1.In a saucepan, combine milk, chai masala, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook until the mixture thickens, achieving a custard-like consistency. Remove from heat.
2. Transfer the mixture into dessert cups or jars and allow it to set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably left for 2 hours or overnight for optimal firmness.
3. In a bowl, blend dark chocolate with heavy cream or coconut cream. Microwave for 1 minute or until the cream is piping hot, and the chocolate melts. Stir until it forms a smooth, uniform mixture, then drizzle it over the chai masala pudding. Indulge and savor the delightful flavors!
